One of the most sought after V.W. options are finally available!
Our Crotch coolers come complete with stainless grills, stainless springs, and seals with adhesive on them. They can be installed on any year air-cooled V.W.. Crotch Coolers were originally installed on 1951 and 1952 Deluxe split-window bugs. Our assemblies are the same size and dimensions as the originals and are made from 20 gauge sheet metal, just like the originals.
Please note: We have polished steel grills available for an additional $35 for a pair. Rare Air MFG Crotch Cooler assemblies come standard with non polished stainless grills.
We now have Deluxe Crotch Cooler assemblies that come complete with Seals, Stainless Steel Springs, Polished Stainless Grills, Polished Stainless internal Trim Bezels and Polished door Levers all for $925 a set
If you have purchase some of the new “WOLF” quarter panels that are stamped with the crotch cooler opening and need crotch cooler assemblies, I now offer Crotch cooler assemblies that will fit his quarter panels. They run $950 a pair and include polished grills. you can also order these in a Deluxe kit for an additional $140. Building these kits without the quarter panel attached during assembly really makes them a lot more labor intensive and that is why the additional cost.
